Same PDF shows in all new notes

To start with, I'm using windows 10.

I created a new note a week ago, and dragged a PDF into it, closed and it and thought I was done.

Now, whenever I look at an old note, the preview pane shows the PDF described above. When I open an old note, it displays correctly. BUT, whenever I create a new note, it shows the PDF above. Very frustrating.

Is anyone else seeing this behavior?

Hi.  This has popped up a couple of times before,  so please submit a bug report - click scroll to the bottom of this page to see the 'Contact Support' button - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/categories/200001917-Troubleshooting

That won't necessarily get you an immediate response,  but try a system restart.  If that fails -

• Copy the Evernote Databases folder to your desktop as a contingency backup. 
  (Evernote Tools > Options > General to open the folder in Explorer,  then File > Exit Evernote and copy that folder)
• Uninstall and restart/ reinstall Evernote as administrator.
• Log back in and check that the rogue PDF is gone.
