(Archived) cann`t upgrade to 1.6x

hi!

my current desctop version ist 1.5x

I am every few days promted to upgrade to 1.6x, but if I try this I get a message "the upgrade i improperly signed"?????

what does this mean?

The update did not download correctly. Try downloading it from the website (click Downloads on the Everenote homepage).

I tried it once now, then I got the error message "evernote helper ist running"

but after restarting the ma it worked.

another question:

is there really no possibility to run evernote on mac OS X 10.4.?

The issue was that the Evernote Helper (the little icon in the menu bar) was running, and you were attempting to replace it.

In order to upgrade, you would have to quit it (via Activity Monitor, or right-clicking the menu bar icon).

Other than that, I believe it should work.

Quit Evernote from the elephant icon in the menu bar first to quit all parts of Evernote.

Then you can download and install the latest version.
