Evernote 6.3 on El Capitan - All Notes view vs last notebook on startup

I'm running Evernote 6.3 on El Capitan. When I start this release of Evernote, it defaults to the All Notes view vs activating the notebook that was active when I last exited the application. Is this a bug or by design? I strongly prefer the original behavior which allows one to quickly return to view the were last in. Anyone else seeing this behavior?

I'm experiencing the same behavior. It also defaults to the All Notes view when closing the window and re-opening (not quitting the application).

Same behavior in EN Mac 6.3 on Yosemite (10.10.5).

I think that Evernote @SoftwareMarcus has acknowledged this as a bug in the main EN Mac 6.3 thread.

Yes, this is a bug in 6.3.  We've already fixed it internally and will release a beta with the fix early next week.
