(Archived) Login-Problem after changing password

I'm facing a problem with my password.

Today I've changed my Online-password. Afterwards I've tried to use the new password also in the EverNote-application using the 'Switch'-functionality under 'Account'. I've changed the pasword there and pressed 'open'. But each time when I try to synchronize with the web, I receive the following message in the log: 18:29 EDAMUserException: errorCode=INVALID_AUTH parameter="password". It seems that it is not possible to change the password of a already created account. When I go back to the Switch-menu there are still the placeholders for the older and shorter password in there.

Try to use Account > Close first (this will close your database), then provide your username and password again.
