(Archived) differences montly usage limit

hi all,

see the screenshots.

i find this minor, but my brain keeps saying: why the difference? (days left and space taken, where space is less minor then the difference of 1 day)

all 3 programs were synced/restarted several times before the screenshot was taken.

the screenshots are taken at the same time (within a minute).

The desktop clients keep track of the size of notes that you created on the client, but have not yet uploaded to the service.

If you created a note in a normal (synchronized) notebook, and then put it in the Trash without emptying the Trash, the client will include that in your monthly quota, so that you can safely move it out from the Trash without causing a problem.

The service doesn't see this note until you do so, however, and neither will other clients.

thanks for the explanation, but sorry, i do not understand your last sentence. could you please explain it a little bit more?

If you make a note on a client, and then put it in the Trash before you sync, then the client doesn't send it to the server at all.

When you move the note out of the Trash, it will send the data up to the server.

This will save some of your upload allowance if you happen to make some big notes and delete them before synchronizing.

ah, great. i allways wanted to ask, what would happen with notes, which are in the trash and what would they do with the online space.
