handcraftedlife 1
I've used the email function many times to send things from my Outlook account to Evernote. I sent several pdf files this morning and they have not been received by Evernote. I received error messages for 2 of them, but nothing for the others. I double checked the format and the email address and they appear correct. What's going on? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,070 Posted December 10, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted December 10, 2015 Hi. Are you a Basic (free) user? If so you may have used up all your email tries (max 5) as here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005347 If you're a Plus or Premium user, what did the error messages say? Are you sending PDF files bigger than the max note size for your account? Have you reached or exceeded your upload limit for the month? https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005157 Link to comment
handcraftedlife 1
I am a Premium User. The error message says: We couldn’t deliver your message The emailed note was received, but Evernote did not understand the email address. It may have been mistyped, or the user may not exist. Please check to make sure the address was properly entered. I've triple checked the email address and it is correct. The biggest PDF I sent was 8 MB so that should be fine. I have only used 99% of my limit for the month. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,070 Posted December 12, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted December 12, 2015 Hmmn. Could be the email account itself, or the server running that email service was having a bad day. Have you retried sending since? If it's still an issue I'd suggest raising a support ticket - click Troubleshooting in the Help Center (link below in my sig) and scroll to the bottom of the page to see the 'Contact Support' button. handcraftedlife 1
Thanks! Indeed, the notes did turn up a couple of days after I sent them. Whew! Link to comment
