REQUEST: option to collapse the note preview pane

Hello Evernote designers!

 

I really like Evernote and would like to keep it open even more often.

For that, I have a simple feature request: the same behaviour as in Apple's Mail.app (or Sparrow the defunct email client), the idea of collapsing the email/note preview pane.

So here it would allow to simply hide the note preview pane that is currently displayed all the time.

 

This would be displayed like this:

 

 

 

It would be very handy, as I would love to keep Evernote open at all times, with the Side List View displayed and the shortcuts on the left.

 

This would be the perfect way to use Evernote: always open, double click on a note to open it in a new window.

I agree, that would be very useful.  AFAIK, all of the Mac email apps, as well as several Note apps, support hiding of the preview panel.
