Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,108 Posted November 24, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted November 24, 2015 @lwj: Sorry you're having trouble with EN Mac. First of all, do NOT export and delete your unsynced notes, as the unhelpful error msg tells you to do. This is a stupid error msg that always appears, regardless of the sync issue. Ignore it. However, as a safety precaution, I would be a good idea to:Export all of your unsync'd notes to ENEX (but do NOT delete the notes) Export all of your Local Notebooks (if any) to ENEX, one NB per ENEX file.Do that first, so you know for sure you have a good backup of your notes. Now, for some troubleshooting:Reboot your Mac Run Speedtest.net to verify you have a good Internet connection Check status.evernote.com for outages Verify that all of your Notes are safely stored in the EN Cloud by viewing them using the EN Web client at Evernote.com.If none of that fixes you sync issue, then See Evernote's sync issue fix checklist: How to troubleshoot syncing issues Good luck, and let us know how it goes. BTW, since you are Premium account, you can contract Evernote directly via EN Support Chat. See Evernote Chat Support., available business days 7am-7pm US CST, but only for Premium or Business users. (Chat option appears AFTER you click “Continue” on initial “Evernote Support” page.) Link to comment
lwj 4
Thanks @JMichael After google for a while, I found many users from China had the same issue: An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made. I think the rules changing of GFW is the reason for us. After using a SOCKS5 proxy, I can sync the notes now. Link to comment
