Freeing up Data

Recommended Posts

If I delete notes, do I free up data from my monthly limit, or do deleted notes still count against my monthly allotment? I'm curious because I set up an IFTTT recipe to send Twitter likes to Evernote. I plan to go through them later and delete the ones I don't want to keep. But I don't want to do this if all of those unwanted tweets will use up my monthly data allotment.

Deleting notes does not increase your monthly limit.

The monthly limit is a measurement of how much you upload to the Evernote cloud.

Even if you simply edit an existing note, the revised note will go against the cap.

However twitter tweats are very small texts. I doubt it would impact the cap very much.

It would be easy to test over a few days or a week.

OK,  I suspected that might be the case. Thank you for clearing that up for me.  :)
