User Management - Security

Enda

Recommended Posts

Hi There,

I've a client considering Evernote Business.

Basically, he has a security concern.

Let's say he shares a notebook with Employee A, B, C, D & E

B leaves the company.

He deactivates B's account or is rights to the shared notebook.

Will B still have access to old info on his device(s)?   IE, will deactivating only stop him receiving new info, or will it also remove old info from him?

Thanks for your help!

Enda.

The first time after deactivation that Employee B opens his/her Evernote client application and is online with Evernote (i.e. the first time an Evernote sync occurs), all of the Business notes and notebooks will be removed from that Evernote client app.  The only way employee B would have access to the Business' notes and notebooks once his/her user account had been deactivated is if s/he never went online in his/her Evernote client app(s) after the deactivation occurred.
