(Archived) Removed email account

I tried to contact evernote directly but couldn't prove myself as human so now I'll try it here

Hello Evernote users/staff. Today I tried to remove my account off evernote to replace the account with a new username. I managed to delete my account just fine, but when I try to set up a new account using my email adress (wich I also used for the deleted account) it says it's already in the database. I was wondering if it takes a while before it gets deleted or if maybe it doesn't get deleted at all?

Is it possible to remove my email adress from the database so that I can create a new account on that adress?
