web clipper doesn't clip to desktop client

Mac OS: Yosemite 10.10.5 (14F27)

Firefox: 41.0.2

Evernot Desktop app: Version 6.1.1 (452254 App Store)

Evernote Web Clipper: 6.1

 

Trying to clip a web page to Evernote desktop doesn't work. I click 'save' and  brief clipping alert shows, then Evernote Desktop comes to the front, but there's no new note.

 

I've reinstalled the web clipper, restered Firefox multiple times.
