this is not EN for mac only, but with all the platforms. but the problems comes up while creating a note from mail.app, which is the standard mail program of OS X.
it seems, that EN is having some layout problems, while importing/pasting a "note" from within mail.
try to write a note in mail.app. then send ich via mail to your EN account.
