Are the Evernote sync servers down?

All I have been getting is a red exclamation mark on my sync button (Windows Desktop app) and this message in the tray

 

"Could not connect to the Evernote Server".

 

iPhone sync seems fine.

Thanks. But none of those suggestions have any bearing on this. I just logged off and tried to log back in - and am now getting a message stating "Can't connect to the server. Try again later".

 

So - it's most likely a server side issue.

What are you using to sync. My phone is syncing fine. Windows Desktop client is dead.

Solved. It was my TLS options in Internet Explorer.

 

Earlier today I was troubleshooting some odd error messages in my Event log and one of the suggestions was to disable TLS via IE Options.

 

I take it this is a very important option for Evernote. As soon as I snapped the TLS settings back on - good to go.

 

Who knew?
