em55 0
Clipper will not let me sign-in when using Chrome. It works in Firefox and Safari. OS Yosemite 10.10.4. I can enter my email address but when I attempt to enter my password the window closes. I have paused Adblock. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Clipper. I have enabled "access to URLs" I have restarted. I have tried all the suggestions I've read in other posts. This began a few days ago, prior to that it has worked fine for several years. Any help is greatly appreciated. Link to comment
Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,117 Posted September 16, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted September 16, 2015 Sounds like there may be another Chrome addin, or 3rd party text expander/macro that is interfering with the EN Clipper. You might try disabling the Chrome addins, one by one, to see if that fixes the issue. em55 0
JMichael, I will try this although I can't think of any addins that I have recently added. Thank you.. Link to comment
Frank (Oslo/Norway) 0
I have the same problem. Can't sign in to WebClipper in Chrome. It's been working fine for years, but not for the moment.I've just upgraded to Win 10, not that I suspect this to be the problem.. but you never know. Link to comment
chanatx 14
If you login to your Evernote web account and revoke access to Chrome Clipper, does it help? It probably wouldn't hurt to also try clearing your browser's cookies. Link to comment
em55 0
Chanatx - Thank you but no, that didn't work either. How can I give Clipper access again? Link to comment
Frank (Oslo/Norway) 0
Yesterday I finally got it to work again! Not sure what fixed it. I removed Adblock, Webclipper and various other extensions from Chrome. Then I reduced open tabs to below 20 and restarted Chrome. Then I reinstalled Webclipper, and this time the login window appeared and I got to login to Webclipper and now it works again. At the same time I also realized that several other extensions started to work again. I think this is a Chrome issue. Webclipper is not the problem. Link to comment
