If the iphone or ipad can take photo of the book (page by page) and then make it into a PDF book and have it OCR and made readable would be great. I can take the image of the book and it is very clear and sharp but how to OCR it so that it can make the pdf readable in iBooks. The county school of the blind would be interested in this. Level 5* gazumped 11,652 Posted September 15, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted September 15, 2015 Not sure how practical it would be to process a 100+ page book with a tablet or phone camera - I use a copying stand for large documents, and the occasional 2/3 pages; but more than that is going to be extremely slow... Evernote won't OCR files with more than 100 pages, so you'd have to look at Adobe Acrobat or something similar to OCR the file locally before uploading - and free users have a 25MB note size limit.
