Different number of notes across devices... aaaarrggghh!

Hi.  Try checking the Trash notebook on all your devices.  Empty the trash,  sync the device and move on to the next.  Likewise check for a Conflicting Changes notebook and correct/ eliminate anything there,  syncing each time.  Then add a note to EN Web via your browser and sync your other devices.  Can you see that note everywhere?  If not,  log out of any device missing the note and restart your device / log back in.  Any change?  If not,  you may need to consider uninstalling and reinstalling the app...

Did it, nothing there.

Did it. No help.

Yes, I can.

Hi,

All my devices are synced but still find differences in notes.

In a particular small stack of notes i find:

  • on my iphone 8 notes
  • on the Evernote webbrowser 8 notes
  • on my local HP laptop only 5 notes

It does not feel ok.

Did you check the Trash notebooks on the views with more notes?

I tried something else and it worked.

Because i wanted to migrate to Windows 10 anyway i decided to:

- remove Evernote software from my laptop and the Evernote database

- i installed windows 10

- i downloaded Evernote software again

- i let Evernote sync all notes again

And everything workes fine again with all the (right number of) notes in place
