It's much too easy to jot a quick note in the clipper and leave it "unsaved" in the buffer. Granted, it's there if I go back to it, but I can't depend on that information being automatically available elsewhere.
I propose a preference that lets the user specify that a note should be saved:
• If focus changes from the window
• After a certain amount of time. (30 seconds? 2 minutes? 5 minutes? Every day at 6 p.m.?)
