Updates that require Administrator Permissions

When I check for updates in Evernote, it says "Notify your administrator to upgrade evernote".  So I tried to launch Evernote as administrator and I got the same results.  I log into my Win 8.1 computer as a standard local user.  There is a separate local account that is the administrator account.  I would like to be able to update Evernote without using the logging on to the administrator profile.  Is it possible to download the update separately and apply it off line?

Hi.  All you should need to do is download the latest version from Evernote.com,  and do a manual uninstall / reinstall of the application.  Before you do so though,  go to Tools and Options and check the location of your databases folder,  and copy the entire folder somewhere else as a backup.  It's a good idea to do that regularly anyway.
