i read across some pages and found these different statements.

not, that this is really important, but, how old is the company called evernote ?

It's a bit complicated, because Evernote was split from another company. The Evernote service was launched two years ago, but "EverNote" (with a capital 'N') was selling various handwriting and note-taking applications for Windows for quite a while before that.
