Evernote will not open on my Mac, fine on iPad and iphone

There is a new Evernote icon on my desktop, but nothing happens when I click on it.  The apps on my iPhone and iPad have the old app logo and are working and syncing to each other fine.

Hi.  What's your Mac OS version,  do you have the latest Evernote from Evernote.com and have you tried an uninstall/ reinstall?

Hi, my Mac OS is Lion, but am contemplating upgrading to Yosemite.  I did an uninstall of the new version of Evernote and am now using the older version which seems to have fixed the problem for now.  Thanks.

Having the exact same problem.

 

I'm on:

 

OS X 10.9.5

 

Evernote 6.0.16

 

Works perfectly on my iPhone. But nothing appears on my Mac. The application is running, but no windows appear, and I can't select any of the choices in the drop-down menus except for like About Evernote/Quit Evernote.

 

Can't select "New Note" or anything like that.

 

I'm guessing there's no solution given the scarcity in posts. Take it I have to use an older version.

 

Where could I find an older version of the application?
