Can't use kindle URLs in note hyperlinks

I am using Web Clipper to send my Kindle highlights from the Kindle website to evernote.

 

Works well, but the 'Read more at location' link does not like the kindle:// urls. The web clipper pre-pends the url of the current page, treating the kindle URL as a relative URL I believe.

 

Also if I manually edit the link, I cannot save the URL without http.

 

Would be great if both Evernote and the WebClipper could be adjusted to allow kindle urls
