Hi - the suggestion has been raised before (many times) but the general consensus seems to be that a dedicated password manager like LastPass is far more practical than an encrypted notebook.  Evernote have some fundamental problems with encryption anyway,  in that to be OCR'd indexed and searchable your notes need to be readable,  not hidden...

I am using evernote to store my passwords, as it has alphebatical sorting (useful :). So encryption of a notebook would be a wise addition to evernotes functionality.

IMO, you are much, much better off using a dedicated password manager like 1Password or LastPass.

Putting passwords in Evernote is a HIGH security risk.  If it were me, I'm remove them immediately.

I have used 1Password for years, and I highly recommend it.  It is available for all platforms,  and, using DropBox, can sync the encrypted data across all of these platforms/devices.
