garnold 0
I use checkboxes to quickly capture information about customers when I'm on calls with them. I would not call this list of checkboxes todos, but more just ways to understand information about a customer. In the screen shot attached you can see a small list of checkboxes that I would either check or leave unchecked based on the results of my call. How can I search on these? Let's say I want to find all customers that have embedded and dashboard checked? Link to comment
Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,115 Posted July 21, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted July 21, 2015 Let's say I want to find all customers that have embedded and dashboard checked? I don't think you can. You could find Notes (which may or may not be customers) that:Have the text "Embedded" and "Dashboard" (which may or may not be on a checkbox line) Have at least one checkbox checked Are related to a Customer by having a "Customer" tag Are from an interview, IF you have assigned a "Interview" tagHere are the Search terms:embedded dashboard todo:true tag:customer tag:interview Unfortunately, this would also find Notes where neither "Embedded" and "Dashboard" were checked. WorkaroundsUse 3rd party ToDo/Task apps that integrate with Evernote Write an AppleScript that scans the contents of a Note and sets Tags based on which checkboxes are checked. (doable, but not easy)Good luck and let us know what you work out. Link to comment
