Time and Date Stamp

Hi,

 

I like using Evernote as a task handling tool and i upload all the things I have to do through Evernote. Sometimes tasks require multiple entries and need to be updated with more information and the time and date of the information being entered is also important. 

 

It would be great if I could just hit a button and the time and date were automatically put in at the point where I had my curser. I have seen other note taking apps that have this feature and it is really handy. 

 

Just a suggestion.

On EN for Windows, press CTRL ; (semi-colon) to enter the time and date in your computer's default format.

Nice. At least 2 ways to skin this cat.

 

Another possibility is through a text expander such as PhraseExpress by using the "#time" tag. You can set up the format to show as you want.

What works for Android, for my phone and tablet. Any ideas?

There is a Phrase Express for Android - I don't date stamp there very often,  so it was never worth working out how,  but you may be able to use that...
