Dconnet, I guess you are saying this is intended functionality and not a bug? These notifications were not showing for me as of the latest beta with the notification option disabled. Link to comment

BTW: The sync notification popup is controlled via "Enable sync notifications" on the Sync tab. They probably came back because of a bug in the installer where we wiped the registry on upgrade (that was fixed in .13 also). Link to comment
