Typing is slow in 6.0.13 on a Mac and its been like that for a long time

Can EN please solve the slow typing problem on the Mac application. Its been there now for many versions. Its making EN fairly unusable.

 

This has got to be a P1 problem?!

 

I used to recommend EN to everyone and now I'm starting to regret using it myself!!

Ok EN technical - you are updating the snippet view while we are trying to type right? Even if its not displayed? 

 

You must be able to just ask yourselves - what processing are you doing while we are trying to type that is hitting performance? With the snippet view displayed its being updated while I'm typing - so you consider that updating what I'm typing is not as important as updating the snippet view!?!?!

 

And as I wait for EN to catch up displaying my typing in the note - a MAC OS egg-timer - another big processing hit. So what are you doing then? Updating the snippet view, anything else?
