WriterOfFictions 0 Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Hi, I've just started getting a really strange error. When I used to copy and paste URL's into notes, I could click them and be taken to corresponding pages in Safari. But now I get the below message every single time I click a link from within my desktop or web version of Evernote: "Oops, we encountered an error. Access denied. You have accessed a location on this server that is not available. You may need to Sign in to your account to access this page." And it doesn't matter whether or not I'm signed into the web version of Evernote, if I click a link, the above message comes up.I've tried searching on here for a solution but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know how to fix this?In case it helps - Evernote was updated on my MacBook Pro on the 29th May 2015. All the best!
Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,119 Posted June 15, 2015 Level 5* Posted June 15, 2015 What site/domain was the link trying to use? It's not clear, but it sounds like the error msg might be from the target web site, and have nothing to do with Evernote. It is just the one URL you have an issue with? Do other URLs work?
WriterOfFictions 0 Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 Thanks for your reply, it prompted me to check other links in Evernote and they seem fine.So I think as you say, there was an error with the target website, rather than Evernote itself. All the best!
