Turboyac 0 Posted June 2, 2015 Share Posted June 2, 2015 Hello, I'm using Evernote to store sensitive data and would like to disable syncing entirely. I'm on Win 7 64.I have already moved all my notes to local folders, but still the default folder remains a synchronized folder. Basically, I want to use my firewall to prevent Evernote (or myself accidentally) from ever syncing. Does anyone know which files are being used for syncing and where they are located? Level 5* CalS 5,280 Posted June 2, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted June 2, 2015 Local notebooks don't sync no matter what. Don't put any notes in your default folder and you won't have anything to sync. Other than that, suspenders I suppose, you could go to Tools - Options - Sync and uncheck all the boxes. Not sure what happens when EN starts, but other than that there should be no syncs except if a manual sync is executed.. Link to comment
