Emails into mail on my Mac incorrectly addressed as Evernote Davis

All of my emails that I receive on my MacBook Pro into Mail have the senders name and then underneath it has To: Evernote Davis. When I send an email to somebody it has Evernote Davis as the sender. How do I get rid of this and revert to my correct name? It is very annoying.

Check your Mac Contacts address book.  Chances are you have a contact by that name/email.

There may also be an option for identifying which contact is "you".

 

This is really a Mac Mail issue, and doesn't have anything to do with Evernote.

Also check the Previous Recipients list in Mac mail - it's probably in there and can be removed.

Thanks for your assistance JMichael and Metrodon. I deleted the offending entry in contacts and it all seems to be behaving now.
