stefan98 0 Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Hi, Using the Android App, when I set the camera to Business Card there is no option to set the location in the settings. Is there a quick work around so that after I have scanned a business card and the information has been added to my contacts, the contact entry in Evernote has the location so I can see where I met the person in the future. Thank you for any help.Stefan
Evernote Expert gazumped 12,630 Posted May 16, 2015 Evernote Expert Posted May 16, 2015 Hi. No workarounds that I'm aware of, though if you have your EN Android settings on Notes > Add location to new notes, you may find that happens automatically, or you could experiment to see whether it's possible to create a new note with a few words about your meeting, then merge that with the business card note, or just copy the location data from one to the other. If you do find a practical solution that works, please share back...
Level 5 CalS 5,327 Posted May 16, 2015 Level 5 Posted May 16, 2015 Never guarantees of similarities between platforms, but a snap of a business card on the iPhone does save location. Press the info icon and then press location and a map appears. FWIW.
