vorear 2
Is there a process to verify URL bookmarks? Ones store in notebooks but the link is now broken and needs repair or deletion? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,072 Posted May 15, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted May 15, 2015 There's no dedicated process, but I do recall apps that will search through websites to identify broken links. You could export all notes to HTML, or search for notes containing <any: ""https://www"> to get a list of notes with links, then export them to an HTML file and use an app to check all the links for validity. Maybe. Some research and testing required to get a flow that works effectively. "Repair" would be a different issue - sometimes the link is broken because a page is moved, other times the site has gone or the content has been deleted. Human intervention required to view all broken links and decide whether to edit or delete them. Link to comment
