Helper annoyance: how to stop it from opening the main window everytime

Hello everyone,

 

I use the helper quite often to jot down my thoughts (which are first placed into an inbox notebook and which I can further sort as needed.)  However, on clicking 'Save to Evernote', it always opens the main Evernote window, thus defeating my purpose which is to quickly jot down what I want without being distracted from whatever I am doing.  Is there a way to disable this behaviour?

There's no way to disable that behaviour,  but you might find it easier to email your thoughts using the Evernote account email address,  which will wind up in your default notebook or can be sent to @inbox by including that in the header...

Thanks for your reply. I'll put this as a feature request.  After all, the option to not open the main window when saving a web clipping is already in place.
