This scrolling issue, and others, have been fixed in the beta just released:

EN Mac 6.0.12 Beta 1 -- Released

The beta version, while fixed the issue, doesn't really help me because it seems

buggy. After I downloaded it to ~/Downloads and unzipped, I have been

unable to open it through Finder. I keep getting the spinning beach ball

after I click on it. The application Icon is also empty/missing.

I've managed to open the app by navigating to the bin directory through

Terminal. However, all my notes have been upgraded and I can't open the original Evernote app anymore either.. I suppose I could live with opening by Terminal, but that's rather annoying.

I get that it's beta, but did they really change the way it opens up on

OSX as well? ....

If the Evernote icon is ever blank that means something really bad happened and it's not really installed properly.  We don't really have an install so I'm not sure how the app got into this state but just try to download the zip file again.

We just officially released 6.0.12 for direct download customers so please upgrade to get a fix for this issue.  We have not rolled this out to Mac App Store customers yet because we have to wait for Apple's approval first.  You can read more about it and follow any discussions at the 6.0.12 release forum post.  http://bit.ly/1B8EucM.
