sirlampsalot 1
Hi - just installed version 5.8.6.7472 on a Windows 7 desktop. Every time I start Evernote the box asking me to chose an Evernote Level pops up (see attached image). I chose Basic each time, and a second confirming box pops up. How can I make this stop? Is there an easy way to roll back to an earlier version? Note that an installation of the same version on a Windows 8.1 laptop seems to work just fine. Many thanks Link to comment
Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,118 Posted April 30, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted April 30, 2015 Not sure if this will work in EN Win, but in the just released EN Mac 6.0.10 we had to sign out of Evernote, sign in , and restart EN Mac. Link to comment
sirlampsalot 1
Thanks for the tip - unfortunately no luck. I tried all combinations of logging off and on, exiting and starting Evernote, and rebooting but the annoying screen still keeps coming back. Link to comment
Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,118 Posted April 30, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted April 30, 2015 Sounds like a bug. Submit a BUG report via an EN Support Ticket. In the Support Form, select "Report a bug", and start the Ticket Title with "BUG: " to make it clear. Reporting a bug should be available to all users, including Free Account owners. Other Ticket types available to Free users are "Data Loss", "Crash", & "Sync Issue". Link to comment

sirlampsalot 1
Thanks so much for the prompt fix. This is an amazing response to a request from a free user. Link to comment
Level 5* s2sailor 2,411 Posted May 1, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted May 1, 2015 With the beta features enabled, if you cut and paste text that includes check boxes, from EN into MS Word (and other apps), the checkboxes do not show. Just realized I posted this in the wrong thread. I meant to put it in New Evernote for Windows 5.8.6 GA under Windows Product Feedback. Link to comment
Alice23 0
6.2.1 still requires me to do this on a regular basis. How do I choose my options *permanently*? (OSX El Capitan 10.11.1) Link to comment
LovedSkitch 2
Adding another voice to the same issue. As of this weekend, on 6.2.1 and Mac El Cap, I am also now asked each time I begin Evernote to chose a level. New and extremely annoying. Help, please! Link to comment
