Webclipper in Firefox is not saving clips

Hi All,

 

I am running Windows 8.1 (64 bit) and have the web clipper installed in Firefox (37.0.2). Everything seems to work in the add-on, but I am unable to save anything. When I click the Save button, nothing happens.

 

Any help/ideas are welcome.

I have the same set-up & no problems with the web clipper, of which I am using version 5.9.1.

Same setup here, no problems.  Have you tried uninstalling/ reinstalling the add-on?

It could be that you have the Clipper set to 'Send clips to desktop' and the communications between Clipper and desktop client is not working for some reason. 

Check your options page and verify that you have the setting 'Send clips to' set to 'Evernote Web'.

 

Let me know if that was the problem.

fwiw I have the same problem on Mac OSX 10.10.3 and FFx. (work computer).

Yep. I have tried re-installing the add-on.

Please update FF Web Clipper to 6.1 where we believe we have fixed those issues. Get it here:

I first tried reinstalling the new version of the extension over the old one. That did not work. Then I removed the old extension and installed 6.1. This too did not work.

Same experience here at least with simply downloading the new version of the extension.  If it helps the issue appears to be primarily (only?) with images for me.
