Integrate handwritten text combined with typed content

I just started a new position that will require me to take large amounts of notes on numerous products. Most of these notes will be typed but I will need to have the ability to add hand written text to them. Years ago this was not possible has it been fixed?

Not exactly sure what you're asking for here,  but if you need to save handwritten notes as well as copies of documents,  you might be better off keeping separate notes of text vs handwritten,  with links in the titles or tags applied to those notes.  My trick with handwritten notes too - have a 'smart' title which describes the content,  or add keywords which do the same thing.
