Evernote Data Integrity after Uninstall

I have Evernote installed on two laptops and my phone.   I will be turning in one laptop to be decommissioned.  If I uninstall Evernote from this laptop before I turn it in, will the data be affected for the other two devices?

Thank you

No. Just be careful. If you delete everything from WITHIN the app, empty the trash, and then sync, you can wipe out everything in your account on all of your computers. Just to be safe, I'd make a backup (you should be doing this on a regular basis anyhow), turn off wifi, and uninstall Evernote. As long as Evernote cannot sync (wifi off), no matter what you do, it won't affect your other things. Also, don't forget to export any local notebooks if you made them.

@JustanotherUser:

As GM said, be sure to export all Local Notebooks to ENEX files, and copy them to an external drive, like s USB thumbnail.

You would then need to import the ENEX in EN Win on your NEW laptop.

Before you uninstall Evernote on the OLD laptop, do one final sync, and confirm it was successful using the EN Web client at Evernote.com.

Exit Evernote and do the usual Windows uninstall.

If you want to be thorough, you can use an app uninstaller like Revo Uninstaller Pro  to make sure everything related to Evernote is removed.

..what they said;  but just make sure that you have synced all your notes and if you have any Local (unsynced) Notebooks on that laptop,  you have to export the notes to ENEX to save them.  If you're happy that all your notes are saved online and on your other laptop though,  I'd think that a simple uninstall using Revo will remove your data adequately.  If the data is confidential,  there are apps that will overwrite empty sectors on your hard drive with random information.  (Actually I think Revo offered me an option to do that as part of an uninstall operation once,  but I can't find that option on a quick look now...)
