Vivid 1
Hey all, I was recently gifted an Android smartphone by my brother and now I have got all that I wanted - Evernote. It is an amazing product for smartphone users, because of note taking capabilities and reminders. I've been using Onenote in my computer for many years now and like it as a journal software. However, evernote is now great for smartphones and to carry your notes everywhere. One issue. The reminders are very short-lived notifications. I would have appreciated more if they are more like 'alarms'. I tried to integrate 'Sunrise' app with it, but somehow I couldn't find a way to modify the reminders settings. Let me rephrase my question again. Can I make notifications sound louder and for longer duration so they sound like alarms? I would appreciate any help. UPDATE: The phone is Android. Sorry for not mentioning it earlier. Link to comment

Level 5* gazumped 10,405 Posted April 12, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted April 12, 2015 Sorry. The phrase "gifted an Android smartphone" should have been a clue. I don't know whether you'd be able to use something like IFTTT to make more of an Android notification, but there's nothing that I know of which will make things more alarming... Link to comment
