devins 0
I just found a gigabyte of installers in my users AppData folder. This should be purged from time to time if there's no good reason to keep this files around. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,664 Posted April 6, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted April 6, 2015 You'll find a bunch of files in your C:\Users\ <user name> \AppData\Local\Evernote\Evernote\Databases\Attachments folder too - these are the temporary files created by Evernote when you view or edit an attachment. They can also be deleted. Link to comment
resolvingconcerns 0
Did you find out if these AUTOUPDATE files CAN safely be deleted? Yes, crazy that EverNote doesn't "clean up" after itself, wasting so much space on our hard drives. Love the program and how the main features remain free though... thanks EN! Link to comment
Level 5* CalS 5,280 Posted July 5, 2018 Level 5* Share Posted July 5, 2018 Used to be that all of the executables for releases stuck in the AutoUpdate folder. Not anymore, they are purged right after the update. I didn't make any changes, so don't know why the different behavior. FWIW. Link to comment
