needed audio note feature

I use Evernote to record audio while taking notes in class. I would like to have the ability to insert a link to a spot in the audio file by tapping on the recording clock (timer) in my mind this would insert a timestamp/link to that point in the audio wherever the cursor is at that moment or at the end of the current note depending on logistics. this would allow seemless note taking. there simply isn't time for any menus while taking notes (no not even one). anyway I would find that very useful. without this feature or something similar the audio files aren't nearly as useful. an alternative would be continual linking like livescribe but to your typing this would be ideal!
