Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,118 Posted March 31, 2015 Author Level 5* Share Posted March 31, 2015 I guess "fast" is relative. I'm not sure I would call 1-1/2 hours fast. 15 min would be fast to me. Link to comment
Frank.dg 1,385
Here in Brazil, 7 hours is fast. Yep, it is relative Link to comment
Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,118 Posted March 31, 2015 Author Level 5* Share Posted March 31, 2015 In Jamaica, one day is fast.My first trip there, many, many years ago, we were told during a bus trip to our resort in Ocho Rios:"Jamaica has two speeds: slow and dead stop. Just relax and go with the flow, and you'll have a great time" We did -- relaxed, adjusted our expectations, and had a really great time. I love the island and the people there. Link to comment
Frank.dg 1,385
Visited Ocho Rios quite a bit when I was working on the cruise ships as a photographer. Went tubing down White River. Now to do the same with most of the apps we depend on Link to comment
lora925 1
It's not back online for me and I can't reboot the computer with the most up to date notes. Any tips on how to force a sync? I've already done what I could find in the KB articles (other than reboot) 18:38:22 [110920] 0% Loaded updateCount: 18718:38:22 [72048] 0% Connecting to www.evernote.com/edam/note/s53118:38:22 [72048] 0% Synchronizing ads18:38:22 [110920] 0% Can't send HTTP request, error: INTERNET_CANNOT_CONNECT18:38:22 [72048] 0% Reporting 1 ads, language: "en-US"18:38:22 [72048] 0% * clientProperty: [client]=[EvernoteWindows]18:38:22 [72048] 0% * ad id=907, impression time=15480 count=12918:38:22 [72048] 0% Can't send HTTP request, error: INTERNET_CANNOT_CONNECT18:38:22 [102812] Client synchronization finished, status: failed18:38:22 [102812] * error: Could not connect to Evernote server18:38:22 [102812] * elapsed time: 0s18:39:15 [109748] Google Analytics: Failed to send event (error: Unknown error 0x800C0005) Link to comment
Frank.dg 1,385
Syncing cannot happen if you cannot connect to the Evernote servers, AFAIK. That goes for force syncing too. It may be a case of sitting sight for a tad bit longer... Link to comment
lora925 1
I figured it out, my AV software was blocking it. I forgot that I started playing around with some settings earlier before I learned of the widespread outage. I thought I had changed all the settings back but just discovered I mixed two of them up. Live and learn. Thanks for the newb support. Link to comment
