annotate tools for web clipper missing in chrome for Mac?

when i clip items with chrome on mac  i dont see any annotate tools? what am i missing?

BTW...i just noticed that i see these tools ONLY when i use screenshot optoin in clipper

Yep... you can only annotate your screenshots. Same on Windows. You're not missing anything. In "Clearly" you can highlight... but that's the extent of it. 

 

Since you're on Mac, why not simply clip to Evernote and then hit the "Annotate entire note as PDF" on your desktop client?

 

Evernote only allows for us to annotate images and PDFs.
