Helene c 0
I use evernote free account on a mac (iphone and ipad) + webclipperI would be very grateful for your advice on how to restrict size on uploads in order not to immediately clog evernote with unnecessary big uploads. (photos, web clips etc) the only settings i have found is in iphone/ipad to restrict photo size - and it is not clear to me whether this applies to only the actual device, and to also saved photos in the camera roll, to scotch-photos etc... very grateful for some insightful advice /Helene Link to comment
Level 5* CalS 5,111 Posted March 24, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted March 24, 2015 Can't do much on the IOS devices since only synced notebooks exist there. On the Mac you can create local notebooks and put your large notes in them. You can email photos to yourself and then move to the local notebook. For web clips, you can just save the URL or you can copy/paste into a local notebook when on your Mac. I don't think there is a clipper option to save to a local notebook, but I could be wrong. Nope; I agree and believe (on mobile devices) you are exactly right.. Link to comment

Level 5* CalS 5,111 Posted March 28, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted March 28, 2015 You are welcome. I guess the freemium model is designed to attract the moths to the flame. On the other hand, $45 per year isn't that expensive for the ability to add 4GB per month and a history function if nothing else. Assuming one could add 4GB per month. Ten lattes or one trip to the movies with popcorn.. Link to comment
