Yotejas 1
Hi all !Sorry for my bad english,I would like to know if it's possible to create a custom search into a stack unlike into a notebook ?When I use the "notebook:******" syntax in the search field, it doesn't return any note when I specify a stack as argument. Is there a special syntax for searching into a stack ? Thank you for reading. Yot. Link to comment
Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,117 Posted March 23, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted March 23, 2015 Try:stack:StackName Note that "StackName" is case sensitive. NOTE: Tested on EN Mac 6.0.6, but I'm pretty sure it works the same in EN Win. Link to comment

flyingscot 0
Thanks all for the tip here -- works for me on Windows. Although it seems that the minus and star modifiers don't work with this syntax. E.g. -stack:PrivateNotes, or, stack:UK* (Same seems to go for the "notebook" syntax) Link to comment

E.g. -stack:PrivateNotes, or, stack:UK* (Same seems to go for the "notebook" syntax) Per the Evernote Search Grammar, there is no wild-carding for notebook: terms (stacks generally follow the same rules as notebooks). Tags and literal terms are explicitly noted as being wildcard-able. Notebooks are not. See https://dev.evernote.com/doc/articles/search_grammar.php Link to comment
