(Archived) BUG [Safari]: Multiple Evernote icons?

Hello all,

I want to know if somebody have a workaround for this " bug"... When i launch more than one safari browser, evernote's icon are multiply in safari.

I am running the latest version (1.6.1) and am also seeing this problem. I have seen notes in several recent releases claiming to be attempts to fix this, but apparently to no avail. I am willing to work with Evernote staff to help troubleshoot this if that would help.

i am also having this problem. how do i get rid of the older evernote icon? i was using the "beta" version of the web clipper for safari, and more often then not (with safari 5.15) this icon keeps re-appearing.

i have removed the existing extension, searched the safari extension folder in the user library, found nothing, re-installed, and it is instantly back.

also, i noticed, when i "edit toolbar" there are also 2 evernote icons there - one says "Evernote" (the real one, i think), and there is another one that says "Clip to Evernote" - the extra.

this is crazy annoying. how to get rid of this, or fix this bug? thanks!

I have the same problem. The only way I have managed to stop the duplicate reappearing is by uninstalling the "clicktoflash" extension.

As I don't have any other active extensions I'm not sure whether it's just a conflict with this extension or other extensions as well.

I raised a support ticket and "an internal bug report" has been raised, so hopefully it'll be fixed soon.
