Won't run on iMac (after many attempts at re-installing)

I've been running EN satisfactorily on various Windows machines, a MacBook Air and a MacBook Pro for a long time.  However, I cannot get it to run on my iMac (running OS X 10.10.2).  Every time I start EN, I get the icon in the tray but nothing else happens until I get the "Application Not responding" message and I have to force quit.

 

I've tried updating from the App Store and uninstalling/re-installing from the EN website several times over the past few months (latest attempt just now with EN 6.0.7 I think), but it just won't start on this particular machine.  Any ideas?

Looks like you've tried all the common remedies.  Only thing I can suggest at this point is to Submit a BUG report via an EN Support Ticket. In the Support Form, select "Report a bug", and start the Ticket Title with "BUG:  " to make it clear.  Reporting a bug should be available to all users, including Free Account owners.  Other Ticket types available to Free users are "Data Loss", "Crash", & "Sync Issue".

Just a thought but have you tried running App Cleaner before re-installing to clear out all the bits of the old installation?
