edit annotation

im not a power user (but want to be!), i starting annotated a bunch of notes today, I would right click the note and annotate, a very handy annotation summary would also be saved. However my problem is when I want to add or edit these annotations. I right click select "Annotates this PDF" and nothing happens. I can annotate a copy of the pdf but by doing so in a copy  I loose the prior annotation history which I find very valuable. Does anybody have experience with this?

AFAIK you should be able to open a PDF and annotate,  then save it back to the note,  re-open and re-annotate..  the only problems come (I believe) if you rotate the view,  or annotate in anything other than English.  Try setting up a new PDF in a new note and test things out - if you annotate the content can you at least see your additions when you save and re-open it?
