individual note size limit?

the knowledge base says an individual note can be 25 Mb. that doesn't tell me anything useful. How many characters, lines of text or pages?

I'm writing a book and need to know how to organize and Evernote.

Nearly impossible to answer, as some of that will be taken up with text markup, which you can't generally see. Lines and pages are relatively meaningless in Evernote; a line may incur some markup overhead, but otherwise Evernote doesn't paginate. Also, will you have images or charts in your book? That will make a difference, too.

 

I'd suggest that you break things down into chapters as a first approximation. If you're pushing 25MB in a note, that's a lot.
