I don't want to save my scanned business cards to my contacts. How do I turn this option off?

Hi - I would really like to scan business cards but do NOT want them in my phone's contacts. I reserve that for close contacts not business contacts I am managing.

 

Is there a way to scan them into a note that has a tag "contacts" instead?

You can definitely turn this off. 

 

If you go into your Evernote app's Settings > General > Camera > Business Card, you'll see an option to turn on or off 'Save to Contacts'

 

You will have to turn this option back on if you would like to save your close contacts.

Thank you! Can you tell it where to save them then (say as a note with a certain tag)?  Whether that is automatic or manually added at the time of scan?

 

I've been on the fence about the scanner for a while but really want to do something with these biz cards! (and don't want a fancy scan to CRM)
